Prologue
A
new chance comes, maybe for me this is precious rare chance. I was chosen as
SEA-Teacher (Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia) Batch 7th
Participant. It It was program that held by SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Minister of
Education Organization). This projects aims are to provide opportunity for
pre-service student teachers from universities in Southeast Asia to have
teaching experiences (practicum) in schools in other countries in Southeast
Asia (to know more about this program you can visit SEA MEO ).
so Hi reader! My name is Ita Adri Supriati (First, middle, last name) you can call me Ita, or IAS (re: Aiyes). I come from Indonesia especially i live in Cilegon, its a city in Province Banten. Now im study in University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, my major is Chemistry Education so basically i will teach chemistry.
It
is an honor for me as a representative from University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA)
Indonesia. I placed in Philippine
Normal University (PNU), Philippine There is only me who came from Banten, but there are 3 others also from Indonesia in different university.
I
feel grateful because it will become my first experience going abroad. It will
become my first
experience in teaching practicum. It’s so special because I will have teaching practicum abroad,
in Philippine. In everyday I try to upload some experiences with a
specific tittle. Maybe it will look like a dairy that someday I will open up
again and throwing back for those moments. I will spent my day with cheerful
and keeping up my spirit because I will spread you a happiness.
So,
here is my story along this journey. Hope you enjoy my story.
WHAT IS SEA MEO?
The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO)
is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 1965 among
governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in
education, science and culture in the region.
As an organization that has continued to nurture human capacities
and explored the peoples’ fullest potential, the SEAMEO maintains its work and
aspirations for development with peoples of the region to make lives better in
quality and equity in education, preventive health education, culture and
tradition, information and communication technology, languages, poverty
alleviation and agriculture and natural resources.
The organisation's highest policy-making body is the SEAMEO
Council, which comprises the 11 Southeast Asian education ministers. The SEAMEO
Secretariat is located in Bangkok, Thailand.

quality of life in Southeast Asia

To enhance regional understanding, cooperation and
unity of purpose among Member Countries for a better quality of life through
the establishment of networks and partnerships, the provision of fora among
